Academic Requirements for Course Completion

Additional course rules | Study plans must include: at least 3 credit points at level 1 from any four of the following subject prefixes: AN, AR, CI , CU, CY, EL , FR, GR, HI , IT, JA, JN , PL, PY, SS , SY or WS; and at least 3 credit points of Indigenous Australian Studies either SS1010 or a subject prefixed IA. A minimum of 42 credit points must be taken at levels 2 and 3, of which, at least 18 credit points must be at level 3. A maximum of 15 credit points may be taken from subjects outside of the Faculty of Arts, Education and Social Sciences, except for subjects specified under a major. |

Eligibility | Candidates may apply for advanced standing for previous tertiary study in accordance with the Advanced Standing for Previous Studies and Recognised Prior Learning policy associated procedures. |

Currency | Advanced standing will be granted only for studies completed in the 10 years prior to the commencement of this course. |
Expiry | Advanced standing gained for any subject shall be cancelled 20 years after the date of the examination upon which the advanced standing is based if, by then, the candidate has not completed this course. |
