Admission Requirements

Course pre-requisites

Completion of a pass degree in Information Technology, from this or another university.

Entry requirements for this course are consistent with the Pathways to Qualifications in the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF level 8) Guidelines for Bachelor degrees.

Minimum English Language Proficiency Requirements

Students of non English speaking backgrounds must have an adequate English language capacity assessed under the Australian International English Language Testing System (IELTS).  The IELTS score required for admission to this course can be found in Schedule II of the JCU Admissions policy.

Additional selection requirements

Must have obtained a minimum average grade of a Credit (GPA 5) for level 2 and 3 subjects.

Special admission requirements

Applications must be approved by the Pro-Vice Chancellor after recommendation of the Head of School.
