Admission Requirements
Course pre-requisites | Completion of an appropriate bachelor degree from this or another university. Entry requirements for this course are consistent with the Pathways to Qualifications in the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF level 8) Guidelines for Bachelor degrees. |
Minimum English Language Proficiency Requirements | Students of non English speaking backgrounds must have an adequate English language capacity assessed under the Australian International English Language Testing System (IELTS). The IELTS score required for admission to this course can be found in Schedule I of the JCU Admissions policy. |
Additional entry requirements | Applicants must satisfy the school requirements relating to the standard of academic achievement necessary to proceed to an honours degree. Admission to the honours degree shall follow on directly from the pass degree and normally no later than five years following completion of the pass degree. Candidates for honours who have graduated with a pass degree from another university or who have graduated more than five years ago may be required to complete such coursework or assessment as the Head of School recommends as a condition of entry to Honours. |
