Award Requirements
Admission Requirements
Course pre-requisites | Completion of an appropriate AQF level 7 bachelor degree at this or another University. Preference will be given to applicants with demonstrated experience or interest in international development practice. |
Minimum English Language Proficiency Requirements | Students of non-English speaking backgrounds must have an adequate English language capacity assessed under the Australian International English Language Testing System (IELTS). The IELTS score required for admission to this course can be found in Schedule I of the JCU Admissions policy. |
Additional selection requirements | Nil |
Special admission requirements | Additional completion requirements for the field components of the course include: immunization certificates for Tetanus, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Typhoid fever. |
Post admission requirements | Prior to undertaking the field components of the course, students must provide evidence of immunity to Hepatitis B as well as immunisation certificates for Tetanus, Hepatitis A, and Typhoid Fever. JCU Infectious Diseases policy and Immunisation Guidelines. |
