TropCOVID is a Far North Queensland study mapping how immunity to COVID-19 changes over time in adults living in our region. By measuring immunity from small blood donations collected across 12 months, we aim to better understand how long immune protection lasts, how it differs between people, and how prior infection and vaccination shape these responses.

This research will create a regional picture of COVID-19 immunity in Far North Queensland and build evidence to support future public-health planning, vaccination strategies, and infectious-disease research.
