Available Load Categories
Study Mode |
Description |
Full-Time |
A course with an load category of full-time describes that a student may only enrol in this course as a full-time student. |
Part-Time |
A course with a load category of part-time describes that a student may only enrol in this course as a part-time student. |
All |
A course with a load category of all describes that a student may enrol in the course as a full-time or part-time student. |
Full-Time Student
a student who has enrolled for 18 or more credit points in one academic year. A normal full-time load is 24 credit points spread over an academic year. A student enrolled for 9 or more credit points in a teaching period may be classified as full-time for that teaching period.
Part-Time Student
a student who has enrolled for fewer than 18 credit points in one academic year. A student enrolled for fewer than 9 credit points in a teaching period may be classified as part-time for that teaching period.
