Course pre-requisites	Completion of an AQF Level 7 Bachelor qualification in any field other than Psychology at this or another University.
Minimum English language proficiency requirements	Applicants of non-English speaking backgrounds must meet the English language proficiency requirements of Band 1 – Schedule II of the JCU Admissions Policy.

Course learning outcomes	On successful completion of the Graduate Certificate of Psychology, graduates will be able to: Apply knowledge and skills in major theoretical perspectives, and philosophical and historical developments in areas of psychology. Critically review, evaluate and apply evidence bases in psychology to solve questions related to the challenges of the diverse populations in regional, national and international communities. Demonstrate high-level judgement, responsibility and accountability for one’s own learning and practice in collaboration with others. Demonstrate advanced English language, technological and numeracy skills to communicate knowledge and findings to others.
