Event details
Join Penney Ferguson, CEO of First Nations Women’s Legal Services Qld, for an engaging session that explores how community legal practices can responsibly share legal knowledge in the digital age. In a world where privacy is paramount and legal advice is strictly confidential, Penney will unpack how to navigate the fine line between education and ethics. Learn how to use digital platforms to empower communities, share client stories safely, advocate for policy change, and provide legal information without misleading or overstepping. This session is ideal for legal professionals, community advocates, and anyone passionate about using law as a tool for social justice and public empowerment. Don’t miss this opportunity to rethink how we communicate legal information and create access to justice for all.
This event will also be live streamed, please register.
