About the Presenter
Rowan King is a Queensland-based lawyer and founder of RK Law, with offices in Caloundra and Cairns. Admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia, he holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice. After starting his career with BE Law and QIFVLS and later working as a prosecutor, Rowan established RK Law in 2017, which has grown to handle high-profile criminal and family law cases, including matters involving Bruce Lehrmann and Christine Anu. A James Cook University graduate, Rowan credits his time there as the foundation for his purpose-driven legal career. He is also a community advocate, volunteering with ICARE4U in Papua New Guinea, serving as a Justice of the Peace, and supporting local organisations such as the Cairns Taipans and Caloundra Swimming Club. Outside of work, he enjoys time with his daughter, motorbike rides, good food, and great coffee.
