About the Event
The World Ecoacoustics Congress brings together researchers, practitioners, artists, and technologists to explore the sounds of the Earth and what they reveal about ecosystems. The congress focuses on ecoacoustics, the study of environmental sound, as a powerful tool for biodiversity monitoring, conservation, and climate research. Through talks, workshops, and interdisciplinary collaborations, participants share advances in acoustic sensing, data analysis, and soundscape ecology. The event fosters global partnerships and highlights how listening to nature can inform sustainable environmental management and inspire deeper connections with the planet.
Registration covers attendance, daily morning coffee/tea + light meal, lunch, and afternoon coffee/tea, as well as reception drinks and food.
Please note, this is a four day event.
Please note that, if you are not a member of the International Society for Ecoacoustics, your membership fee is included in the cost of the event for members, so when you register, you will become a member for 2 years!
After you have registered to pay, a series of questions, including dietary requirements, will appear for you to answer.
