This Masterclass (Supervising for Competence in Health Equity & Human Rights) draws on established ethical frameworks and supports supervisors to strengthen their skills in these areas, including specific considerations for rural and remote practice. Health equity and human rights are explored through the lens of the new Professional Competencies, with particular attention to Competency 7(working with people from diverse groups) and Competency 8 (working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, families, and communities). More information can be found here. This is a live delivery online Masterclass (using Zoom) that will require you to have video and audio for the duration of the workshop. The workshop is delivered utilising a peer learning model, so bring your examples and questions along to discuss on the day.
