Tropical Cyclone Koji - campus updates
TC Koji has crossed the coast between Ayr and Bowen. Heavy rainfall is continuing between Ayr and Mackay with localised flooding and some power outages reported.
Townsville
- The Bebegu Yumba Campus will be OPEN tomorrow, Monday 12 January and all teaching and examination activities will proceed as scheduled.
- Access to general access computer laboratories and the 24 hour Library space will be open from 10am today. You will need your JCU ID card to access these areas.
- Anyone travelling to campus should drive to conditions, with caution for water, debris and potholes.
Ayr to Mackay
- Students and staff in areas impacted by TC Koji are advised to prioritise personal safety and to monitor advice from Local Disaster Management Groups and emergency services before leaving shelter.
