Insight and Discussion

To mark 20 years of JCU Medicine we are turning the spotlight on the current challenges facing medical workforce in rural, remote and regional Australia. Watch this webinar as we take a look back over the success of our program and its impact around the region. Our expert panel then discuss the broader
medical workforce challenges facing rural, regional and remote communities. It examines some of the current initiatives underway, while investigating the barriers and enablers aimed at addressing the problem.

JCU is Australia’s most successful university in delivering a fit-for-purpose medical workforce for those most in need. We’ve come a long way in twenty years, but there’s still more to be done.
