Lifestyle medicine is the evidence-based practice of whole-of-person care that adds years to life, and life to years.

Lifestyle medicine aims to address the lifestyle and social determinants of illness and wellbeing. Assessment and interventions include nutrition, fasting, movement, sleep, mind-body approaches like meditation, relaxation therapy and breathwork, substance reduction, social connection, social prescribing and connection to our natural world.

These pillars are combined with behaviour change skills, such as health coaching, digital approaches and translational research to implement innovative models of care that can be scaled to improve patient and service outcomes.

During this webinar, we will focus on the lifestyle medicine domains and, implementation considerations in the prevention, treatment and, when possible, remission of some of our most common chronic conditions including type 2 diabetes, heart disease, dementia, arthritis, major depression disorder and more.
