This seminar will explore a real-world application of AI, with an emphasis on medical and health-related applications - from a very personal perspective. The seminar will foster your skills in critical reasoning and assist students preparing for the university-wide rollout of Microsoft 365 Copilot (premium edition): coming to all staff and students later this year.
The seminar will feature Kyle Jackson, Chief Technical Officer of Sekuro and Ian Atkinson from AI@JCU. This presentation will offer valuable insights into how AI is being used in real world contexts and some consequences that we all now confront.
This seminar will be of significant benefit to students who all need to understand the opportunities and limitations of AI in practice, and how AI is changing our engagement with technology.
The session will be held both in person at the Bebegu Yamba, Townsville Campus, and online via Zoom. Please come in person if you are on campus.
