All of our bedrooms are fully air-conditioned and have Wi-Fi.
During holiday periods JCU Halls of Residence can provide short term (casual) accommodation to new students seeking off-campus accommodation, external students attending residential or block mode courses, and campus visitors and staff.
During the academic year room availability is subject to our long-term residents vacating and subletting their rooms, e.g. during lecture recess or while attending placement, and for this reason we cannot confirm bookings until closer to the time of stay. We maintain a wait list year-round and are happy to take your details and advise when a room becomes available. Contact us for further information.
There are several room types available at competitive rates.
If you intend to study at JCU, but prefer to live off-campus, we can offer you a short-term stay while you settle into Townsville and take the time to find the right accommodation for you.
JCU’s Accommodation Service can assist with finding off-campus accommodation.
If are attending a block mode course, residential block, or similar at JCU during the holidays, you can opt to live on campus.
Availability during the academic year is limited, however we maintain a waitlist year round and will happily advise when a booking can be confirmed.
If you (or a group) are attending a conference or event at JCU or in the Townsville area, check with our Conference Organiser for special accommodation packages available at our Halls.
For short stays at The John Flynn College or Saints Catholic College.
