Study a comprehensive range of subjects including chemistry, human anatomy and physiology, biology, pharmacology, therapeutics and research. Discover the core role of the pharmacist as you apply your learning to case scenarios, professionally relevant learning tasks and practical assessments. Learn in a flexible study environment with online and small group face-to-face education while working alongside your peers in team-based applied learning to sharpen your communication and problem-solving skills.

Put your knowledge and skills to the test with extensive clinical placements. Gain valuable hands-on experience and strengthen your understanding of a pharmacist’s role as you undertake over 600 hours of placement throughout your degree. As you work embedded in communities and focused on patients’ needs, you’ll turn theory into practice and gain diverse skills that will prepare you for your future career.

With the knowledge and skills gained through your study, you’ll be equipped to work in diverse settings from hospitals and local pharmacies, to rural and remote communities. You could find employment as a community pharmacist, hospital pharmacist, consultant pharmacist, industrial pharmacist, researcher, or educator. You can also work in primary care settings within multidisciplinary teams dedicated to improving the overall health of your patients.
