At JCU, we’re incredibly fortunate to begin placements in our very first year — from general practice placements and hospital stints to a rural placement in Cloncurry, where I was mentored by a JCU alumnus. He gave me the chance to get hands-on with procedures that students usually wouldn’t attempt until much later in their training.
