Develop a conceptual framework for teaching, learning and research in the health context and across multiple health professions.
Broaden your current expertise with specialist knowledge and skills in clinical education, and educational technology. Your studies will culminate in a real-world project in health professional education.

Graduates from JCU’s Graduate Certificate in Health Professional Education (HPE) have specialised skills and are employed as educators in a variety of clinical and healthcare settings.
HPE is applicable to a range of healthcare settings. Graduates pursue careers in private and public hospitals, tertiary, rural and remote health services, and in community settings and clinics.
Graduates find work as educators in medicine, nursing, dentistry and all allied health professions. You could find employment as a clinical educator, supervisor or preceptor for health students.
On completion of the Graduate Certificate in Health Professional Education you may choose to go on to study the Graduate Diploma of Health Professional Education or Master of Health Professional Education.
