Course learning outcomes
The Graduate Certificate in Health Professional Education enables health professionals working in regional and remote tropical Australia to complete a postgraduate qualification to enhance their teaching and learning skills. The course introduces basic concepts essential for learning, teaching and supervising in clinical settings for health professionals.
Students will develop knowledge, skills and attitudes as effective educators to deliver best practice teaching and learning opportunities for students in all health professions.
Graduates of the Graduate Certificate of Health Professional Education will be able to:

Credit gained for any subject shall be cancelled 8 years after the date of the examination upon which the credit is based if, by then, the student has not completed the course of study prescribed for the degree.
