I am thankful to JCU — the skills I gained in my Master of Public Health training became essential during the pandemic. My major in Biosecurity and Disaster Preparedness, equipped me with the tools to prepare and respond effectively, navigate resource limitations, and confidently lead the Solomon Islands Medical Assistance Team during the deployments to the remote locations of the country.
