“Studying a Master in International Tourism and Hospitality Management at JCU Brisbane was a life-changing experience for me.

In my course there was a good mix of tourism-related subjects and business subjects. Lectures and tutorials were never purely theoretical and were always full of real life examples. Assignments were challenging and helped me to develop skills such as creative thinking, critical thinking and analysis.

Most importantly the knowledge and skills I learned help me now a lot in my current job. 8 months ago I joined Booking.com, one of the biggest Online Travel Agencies in the world, as a Hotel Account Manager in their Sochi office (Russia). My role is to help our partners, big and small hoteliers, to get more bookings, increase sales, and meet guests’ demand – with the use of booking.com instruments.

I am happy that I now have a chance to work in the tourism and hospitality industry and in some way keep contributing to its development.”
