Our friendly IT Help Desk team are here to help you with all your IT questions and support needs and can be reached Monday through Friday, from 8am to 6pm AEST (closed weekends and Public Holidays). There are four ways that you can get in touch with us, so choose the method that suits you best.
Log a Job
You can request support through the JCU ServiceNow portal. Staff should also have a “JCU ServiceNow” icon located on their desktops, which is a shortcut to the site.
Send us an email at [email protected] and a job request will be automatically created for you in ServiceNow.
Call
- Business Hours: Call the IT Help Desk during business hours from 8am to 6pm AEST (closed weekends and Public Holidays) to talk to one of our helpful operators.
- After Hours: Call after hours to leave a message on our voicemail service along with a contact phone number and we will call you back on the next business day.

Visit us in Person
During the semester we provide a service point conveniently located at JCU Townsville Campus, in Building 300 Room 005. We are open from 10am to 1pm on weekdays to assist students and staff with technical issues they may be experiencing with using JCU IT Services.

To report a critical incident outside normal business hours, contact the IT Duty Manager. These phone numbers are not for general enquiries and should be used to report Critical Services outages only.
