James Cook University has once again demonstrated its outstanding performance in graduate employment, achieving a five-star rating for the 13th consecutive year in Australia’s leading tertiary education guide.

The most recent release of The Good Universities Guide reaffirms JCU’s excellence, with the university receiving 5 out of 5 starts for undergraduate and postgraduate full-time employment.

Expanding on its achievements from the previous year, The Guide has also awarded JCU 5 out or 5 stars for:

  • Social equity (the proportion of students in a university’s entire cohort of domestic students who are from a low socio-economic or disadvantaged backgrounds) and;
  • Student teacher ratio, placing it within the top five of universities nationally.

JCU Vice Chancellor Professor Simon Biggs, emphasised that these latest accolades mirror’s the university’s unwavering dedication to delivering a high-quality education and a potential robust career to students who attend the university.

“JCU continues to set the standard when it comes to giving our graduates the ability to follow their dreams and achieve long-term success in the workforce,” he said.

And that is not all! JCU has also secured a spot among the Top 10 on AFR’s Boss Best Business Schools rankings for 2023. Thus, further solidifying its dedication to fostering successful business careers.
