In the heart of Brisbane's Parliament, a vibrant gathering of African professionals and aspiring leaders convened for the African Professionals of Australia Breakfast Meeting. Mercy Wangechi was one of them.

As the student leader for Kenyans In Queensland, Mercy found herself at the centre of opportunity and responsibility. Her journey to the APA Breakfast Meeting began with a pivotal invitation from APA leaders, a testament to her proactive involvement in fostering connections within the African community.

At the event, Mercy seized the opportunity to engage with APA leaders, exchanging insights, and forging meaningful connections. Her presence not only represented the Kenyan community but also exemplified the dedication of African youth in Queensland towards fostering cross-cultural collaboration and professional growth.

We're thrilled to have Mercy represent our diverse JCU Brisbane community and celebrate her efforts in shaping a more inclusive professional landscape in Australia.
