Campus K: a challenge to find out just who is the fastest on campus

The Campus K is a new event that has been added to the student life calendar at James Cook University.

All students and staff have been invited to participate in a 1km run through the Townsville campus tomorrow (August 22).

There are four categories: Female Student, Male Student, Female Staff, and Male Staff.

The race will be followed by afternoon tea and entertainment by local artist Jacob Long.

Time: 2.30pm (the race will be completed by 3pm)

Date: Thursday 22 August 2013

Location: Education Central (Bldg 134) Outdoor amphitheatre

Please note: participating in this event is open to staff and students only, but media are more than welcome to come and take photos, interview participants or film the race.
