Masters' by Research

A Master of Philosophy will allow you to conduct research in a specific area of your choosing, culminating in a thesis at the end of two years. A Master’s course is usually taken after study at the Bachelor’s level, and can provide a pathway to a Doctor of Philosophy degree.

JCU offers Masters' degrees in various fields of study, including Natural and Physical Sciences, Society and Culture, Health, and Education. To find out more about how to apply for a Master’s degree, go to JCU’s Postgraduate courses page.
