Year 11 and 12 students don’t have to wait until graduation to start preparing for university. Find out how students can get a head start at uni with the JCU NOW program.
Through JCU NOW, Year 11 and 12 students get a taste of university life by participating in first-year university subjects taught by current JCU lecturers and tutors. Students can choose from unique subjects across a range of study areas, such as Human Rights Law, Design Thinking, Sport and Exercise Nutrition, Educational Psychology and more. The first JCU NOW subject is FREE, and additional subjects are heavily subsidized.
Students not only gain skills to aid them in their high school study, but their completed JCU NOW subjects may also contribute towards their QCE points or credit within their future JCU degree.
