Website redesign

Welcome to

Brands and branding play an important role in a more competitive environment, which is why JCU Marketing is working towards two priorities:

  • Clearly articulate who JCU is – as an organisation, a symbol, personality and product (Brand identity)
  • Make consistent what JCU looks like – in all marketspaces and customer segments (Brand image)

As part of this process, JCU has redesigned its website (see below). For future and current students, the website is their principal access point.  Key features of this redesign include:

  • A new primary navigation bar focused on Future Students, Current Students, Research and Teaching, and Partners and Community
  • A new front end with reduced clutter/content
  • Imagery emphasising JCUs interconnectedness – in North Queensland, throughout Australia and around the world
  • A global footprint through research collaboration and alumni networks you would expect from a leading university
  • A narrative articulating our commitment to people and societies, the natural world and the built environment
  • Improved search functionality (this takes time and requires removing pages and content that ‘pollute’ search results)
