What are Progress Reports?

The purpose of the Progress Report is to ensure that you are making progress towards the completion of your degree. It's a way for you to check in with your advisors and for the university to understand how you are progressing.

So, how does it work? You are required to submit a progress report every six months in April and October, unless you’ve completed a milestone or commenced or submitted in the previous six months. The report should include details about the research that has been undertaken, any delays encountered, and plans for the next six months.

Your advisory panel will also review your progress, and provide you with feedback This is a great opportunity for candidates to get guidance and support from your advisors, and to discuss any issues or concerns, and your progress generally.

Overall, the HDR Progress Report is designed to help you stay on track and get the support you need to complete your degree.
