Associate Professor Julieanne Lamond

Julieanne is the President of the Association for the Study of Australian Literature and editor of the journal Australian Literary Studies. Julieanne has spoken on ABC Drive, 666 Canberra, and been interviewed for several broadsheet newspapers. She has published pieces in The Guardian and The Conversation.

Julieanne researches Australian literature, cultures of reading, and the relationship between gender and literature. Since 2014 she has worked with non-profit organisation the Stella Prize on the annual Stella Count, collecting statistics on gender balance in the pages of Australia’s books.
