AMHRA is a research consortium that aims to improve mental health and psychological wellbeing through research, practice, and policy. We share the values of service to people and community, research excellence, research innovation, and collaboration. Our aim is to support translational research which has societal impact, developing innovative solutions that address real-world mental health challenges, fostering healthier communities, and improving the lives of individuals in our region.

AMHRA is committed to empowering tomorrow’s researchers. Through JCU’s research education, we support our HDR candidates (Higher Degree by Research) and ECRs (Early Career Researchers) to stand at the frontiers of knowledge in the field of psychological wellbeing and mental health.
