Joshua Ching

Joshua Ching is a Master of Marine Biology student at James Cook University and a member of the ARC Research Hub for Supercharging Tropical Aquaculture through Genetic Solutions. His research applies metagenomic approaches to investigate how dietary starch sources and inclusion levels influence the gut microbiome of giant grouper (Epinephelus lanceolatus). His broader research interests include toxicology, microbial ecology, aquaculture, sustainable aquafeed development and fish health.
