Junya Minami

Junya Minami is a PhD candidate at James Cook University and a member of the ARC Research Hub for Supercharging Tropical Aquaculture through Genetic Solutions.

Following the successful completion of his Bachelor of Science (Honours), Junya has continued his research journey with a PhD project focused on the development of vaccine management strategies against Cryptocaryon irritans in barramundi (Lates calcarifer). His research aims to improve disease management in aquaculture and contribute to enhanced fish health and sustainability within the tropical aquaculture industry.
