Partners and Community Partner Programs

Partner Programs

Through strategically targeted external engagement initiatives on a regional, national and global basis, James Cook University seeks to establish and foster collaborative, productive and mutually beneficial partnerships and alliances, which contribute to JCU achieving its strategic priorities.

From JCU’s regional location in the Tropics, relationships will be sought with learning and teaching, research organisations, industries, employers and appliers of new knowledge wherever they may be around the world. The University will explore, implement and support opportunities for collaboration, both physically and virtually, through encouraging staff and student involvement and using information and communication technology to give activities a global reach.

James Cook University is supportive of its communities, being determined to listen to needs and help contribute to the rich and diverse cultures that are developing over time.
