History of the prize
Calanna Pharmacy began in 1976 with the Pharmacy opening in the suburb of Woree in Cairns under the guidance of Mario Calanna. Mario's son Matthew, a graduate of the JCU program, has also joined the company. When Calanna was taken over by Terry White Chemists, Matthew Calanna continued to support this award.
