James Cook University offers over 250 prizes each year which are awarded annually. Prizes are awarded at all levels from first year to graduating students, based on the criteria of the prize. Prize winners are nominated by their College based on outstanding achievement either in their course or subject. Writing Prizes are the only prizes which include an application process.

Prizes can range from $150 up to $2,000 and many include subscriptions, professional registrations, work experience etc.

The Prizes Office would like to acknowledge and thank the many donors who support our prizes each year many of whom take the opportunity to engage with the recipients.
