History of the prize

This prize was founded in 1983 and is maintained with donations from the North Queensland Bar Association. The prize is awarded to the JCU Townsville, Bebegu Yumba campus, Douglas student who achieves the highest pass in the subjects Principles of Criminal Law A & B and enrols for law degree studies in the following year at the JCU Townsville, Bebegu Yumba campus, Douglas.
