Founded in 2023 by JCU Law Alumni and Barrister Rowan Pack and wife Meg Frisby. This prize acknowledges the success of First Nations students by promoting inclusivity, diversity and equal opportunities in legal studies and the profession.

Prize Information
Awarded to a First Nations law student enrolled in years 1, 2 or 3 at James Cook University (Townsville or Cairns campus) who has achieved the highest GPA among their peers in their respective year of study. The recipient cannot have received this award previously.
$1,000 plus offered legal mentoring with Rowan Pack Barrister and Mediator (Townsville based)
