Phil Summers 'Commitment to Excellence in Medicine' Award

History of the prize

This prize was founded in 2010 with a gift from the graduating MBBS class and maintained by the College of Medicine & Dentistry, along with members of the North Queensland Community. The prize is awarded to the most deserving graduating student as chosen by a Committee established by the Head, College of Medicine and Dentistry. The Committee is to comprise of teaching staff from the last two years of the MBBS course.
