History of the prize

This prize was founded in 2012 and maintained with donations from Provet North Queensland. The prize is awarded to the graduating student from the Bachelor of Veterinary Science course who has achieved the highest academic merit in the animal behaviour, welfare and ethics components of the course over all five years and who shows the greatest aptitude to contribute to the field.
