History of the prize
In 2025, Australasian College of Pharmacy established the first pharmacy post-graduate prize at James Cook University for prescibing. In 2026, TerryWhite Chemmart took over the funding and support of the prize.
TerryWhite Chemmart is of Australia’s leading community pharmacy networks, with more than 630 pharmacies nationwide. Dedicated to accessible, frontline healthcare, TerryWhite Chemmart pharmacists deliver vaccinations services, prescribing, health screenings and personalised advice, supporting communities with integrated, patient-centred care.

From the graduating pool of students, the TerryWhite Chemmart Prescribing Practice Excellence Award will be awarded to the student with the most outstanding performance and engagement during the Graduate Certificate of Advanced Practice and Prescribing for Pharmacists course. This prize will be awarded by nomination from course coordinator.
