History of the prize

This prize was founded in 2008 and is maintained with donations from the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists. The prize is awarded to the final year student enrolled in the Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery who has submitted the best anaesthesia essay, as judged by the selection committee.

Awarded to the Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery student enrolled in the current year and has achieved the best overall performance in the anaesthesia essay. Topics will be advertised on LearnJCU each year.
