History of the prize
Founded in 2009 and maintained by donations from the Qld Division, the AVA Student Award is awarded to a final year student who is a member of the association. The student who through their academic work and participation in student affairs are considered to be an asset to the student body and potentially an asset to the veterinary profession and the association.
