History of the prize

This prize was founded in 1998 and is maintained with donations from the then School of Engineering and Physical Sciences. The prize is awarded to the full-time student who achieves the best overall pass in level 1 of the Bachelor of Engineering and have enrolled in level 2 at the Townsville, Bebegu Yumba campus.
