History of the prize

The Electric Energy Society of Australia (EESA) is a non-profit Technical Society dedicated to advancing knowledge in the Electric Energy industry. EESA was established in 1924 and has a rich 100-year history of supporting electric energy professionals through the delivery of a high-quality technical program of online and in-person webinars as well as networking opportunities.

EESA aims to provide development opportunities to its members and to support engineering pathways through the sponsorship of university awards and the offer of free student membership to undergraduate university students.
