Dr R. Palmerston-Rundle Prize for Biological Sciences

History of the prize

This prize was founded in 1971 by the Townsville and District University Society with a donation of $1,000. The prize is awarded to the student who, in the opinion of the Dean of the College of Marine & Environmental Sciences, has demonstrated the best overall performance and ability in level 4 of a course of studies leading to the degree of Bachelor of Science with Honours in disciplines within the Biological Sciences group.
