History of the prize
Founded in 2018 and maintained with donations from the Palliative Care Service who are supported by patients and relative donations. The donation is to promote awareness of Palliative Care in the 4th year Allied Health students. These funds aim to promote palliative care for he benefit of palliative care patients in future.

Awarded to the undergraduate student who is enrolled in the 4th year of a Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Social Work or Speech Pathology degree and achieved the best overall performance in the Palliative Care essay and was assessed as being of good academic and professional standing.
