G.N. Richards Medal in Chemistry

History of the prize

This prize was founded in 1970 with a capital donation from G.N. Richards, Foundation Professor and Nevitt Professor of Chemistry. The prize is awarded to the student who, in the opinion of the committee has demonstrated the best overall performance and ability in chemistry subjects leading to a major in chemistry within the degree of Bachelor of Science of James Cook University.
