History of the prize
This prize was founded in 2015 and maintained with donations from Mr Dennis Hebden in memory of his brother, well-known cartoonist, Robert James Hebden (pen name HEB). HEB contributed a weekly topical cartoon to local newspapers for over 40 years. It is awarded to the graduating student who achieved the highest GPA, studying Bachelor of Education (Secondary) – Second Teaching Area (Secondary Visual Arts).
