History of the prize

This prize was founded in 2000 and is maintained with donations from IEEE North Queensland Section. The prize is awarded to the student who obtains the best first year results in a degree program which leads to membership of the IEEE.

Awarded to the College of Science and Engineering student at JCU who achieves the highest overall results in the first year of full time study in a degree program which leads to membership of the IEEE.

$200.00 plus a one-year student membership of the IEEE
